Guadalupe Mountains

The Guadalupe Mountains National Park extends from southern New Mexico into West Texas, and is home to thousands of plants, animals, and insects. It’s an area that holds the histories and stories of families who live there, folks who worked there, and a few renegades who hid there. Burr documented native plant and animal species, identified birds and habitats, and wrote this book to share his experiences with anyone interested in learning more about the Guadalupe Mountains.
